Scheherazade is the tale of a woman trying to melt the heart of a king. The Shah has lost at love after discovering his wife’s infidelity and orders her death. The powerful Shah enjoys various marriages thereafter and each wife’s fate is sealed to the same conclusion the following morning after their wedding night. Scheherazade has devised a clever plan to intrigue her new husband, so that she may prove her love and loyalty to her king and bring an end to the ruler’s suffering to all womankind.

Emily Brontë’s classic tale of passion and revenge Wuthering Heights is Harbour Theatre’s second production for 2008.  "Wuthering Heights" is the classic story of Heathcliff’s and Catherine’s all-encompassing yet thwarted love and how this unresolved passion eventually destroys both themselves and many around them. This gripping tale is brought to life in an adaptation that retains all of the integrity of the original novel.
FotoFreo 2008 : The City of Fremantle Festival of Photography FREMANTLE
FotoFreo is the southern hemisphere's premier photographic festival and in 2008 will host 84 exhibitions involving more than 200 photographers, digital projections of 40 photographers and another 55 exhibitions in the FotoFreo Perth and FotoFreo Fringe, together with a conference, seminar, informal lectures, presentations and workshops.  A biennial festival of photography since 2002, FotoFreo showcases the work of major international and Australian photographers and is on display at various venues around Fremantle and Perth from 5 April - 4 May 2008.
