4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art
Based on the artist’s experience of feeling caught between Chinese and Australian culture, his satirical paintings explore shifting histories and cultural perspectives.
In this new series Guo Jian has been inspired by the movie set as a way of illustrating the migrant's experience in the 21st century.
At 2pm on Saturday 13 February leading artist Guo Jian & renowned journalist, novelist and author Linda Jaivin will be in conversation at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art.

This exhibition is part of the City of Sydney's 2010 Chinese New Year Program.
