Fair Co-coordinator Jarred Finnigan - Australian Piano dealer and accredited Yamaha and Petrof Piano tuner and technician said last years event boasted more than 45 different models and a diverse range of colours from the world’s best and trusted brands. It’s the best way to browse for and buy a piano and you are guaranteed to save money because you are cutting out the middleman.” Finnigan says. “The fair gives you the chance to purchase virtually factory direct which is a great opportunity in these tougher economic times.

Sam Trovato, Sound Centre Director and event host said this year promises to be bigger and better with entertainment from our very own WA piano students.

Students from the Sound Centre School of Music, in conjunction with the students of our friend and accredited Piano teacher Julia Sykes, will perform at the fair.” Trovato said.  “Julia teaches her famous Sykes method and both schools have a combined total of more than 1000 students and numbers are increasing. Music is proving to be recession proof!” says Trovato.

“Hosting the fair supports our credo of keeping the music alive!  Plus it’s an excellent opportunity for our young up and coming pianists to play in an exhibition setting for the public on a fantastic sounding piano - like the $110,000 Petrof Concert Grand.”

Students who will be performing at the Fair include: Alexandra Fox MOUNT LAWLEY- Simon Le Clair KIARA – Nicole Pinto DIANELLA – Melanie Rom INGLEWOOD - Jacob Stephens BASSENDEAN Isabelle Masbate, Rohan Zakharia, Sebastian Wright, Sofia Ottaviano, and Emily Seif.
