Vision for Arts and Culture Presentation
PERTH’S VISION FOR ARTS AND CULTURE ONE STEP CLOSER TO REALITY
The Committee for Perth invites everyone to attend the presentation of its draft ‘Vision for Arts and Culture’ when it is presented to the public on Friday, 22 August.
After months of research and consultation, the draft Vision designed to establish our city and State as a vibrant and energetic place to live, has finally begun to emerge.
The bold ideas identified by participants in the one-day work shop held in June, will help bring the Vision one step closer to becoming a reality, according to Committee for Perth CEO Marion Fulker.
“We are excited to present this Vision to our members and the public in draft from first, because we want to make sure that it truly reflects what the people of Western Australia want for the future of arts and culture in our State,” she said.
“The arts and culture need to become a part of our everyday life, if we want to create a more vibrant city for the future and we hope that all our members will support this project by attending the upcoming presentation,” Mrs Fulker said.
All members and interested people who wish to attend the presentation and comment session are encouraged to call Angie Jones at the Committee for Perth on 08 9481 5699, or email angie.jones@committeeforperth.com.au and leave their name by 5:00pm Thursday, 21 August.
