“Hell hath no fury like three women scorned.” Fall dangerously in love with The CoverGirls Peggy-Sue, Mary-Jane and Just Betty as they tease, cajole and spank the songs of delicious 60’s divas Diana, Tina, Shirley, Aretha and more, before sending them off for a bex and a good lie down. Add a tiny tongue lashing from Germaine (Greer) and a couple of sparkly little AK47’s and you have a night squished to the brim with love, romance and just a dollop of terror.

5, 6 & 7 August, 2010
CABARET SOIREE CARNIVALE GAY CONVERSION SCHOOL DROP OUT
FEATURING Anthony Menchetti
Direct from critically acclaimed seasons on the Australian and International comedy circuits, Anthony Menchetti (NBC’s Last Comic Standing) takes us behind the scenes of what really happened when his over-the-top right wing Christian parents sent him to a gay conversion school to rid him of his homosexuality. This hilarious stand up comedy show exposes the ironies of an organisation that, amongst other absurdities, attempts to cure homosexuality and promote abstinence by placing a group of sexually frustrated gay men together in a small room to discuss their sexual fantasies and then insist they remain celibate!  Anthony recalls joking on his first day, “I’m gay but I’m trying to quit. Down to one fag a day! Have one every morning with my coffee.”
If you are gay, you’ll relate to this open, honest life story. If you aren’t you’ll understand your gay friends better having seen this show. You’ll laugh your head off! Scotsgay, UK
