Dine for Life Summer Dinner
The Dine for Life initiative was established in 2009 with the goal of promoting awareness and understanding of important social issues. The events organised by Dine for Life, which run on the basis of 100 people dining simultaneously across ten of Perth’s top restaurants, aim to do this by focusing on the work of one charitable organisation per dinner. Dine for Life endeavour to assist the aligned charity with their donation, but it also seeks to raise the profile of the selected organisation within Perth’s wider community. Dine for Life donates 100% of the proceeds generated by ticket sales to their selected charity for each dinner. The Autumn Dinner, on 25 May 2010, was the premiere event in the Dine for Life dining series. The launch event proudly supported the Global Good Foundation, raising a total of $12,000 for the organisation. For our upcoming Summer Dinner on December 1, we are supporting the Samaritans Crisis Line in fostering positive change in the lives of those affected by loneliness, depression and suicide.
