Free Ferrari Public Event, Presented by Shell on Swanston Street & City Square, Melbourne

Shell Australia is giving Melburnians the chance to meet Scuderia Ferrari Formula One superstars Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa as Scuderia Ferrari launches its Formula One season at the 2009 Australian Grand Prix.

A motorcade , designed to give Scuderia Ferrari fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with their heroes, will be held on Swanston Street, with the Scuderia Ferrari drivers appearing in open top Ferraris.  A Scuderia Ferrari Formula One race car will also be on display.

The motorcade will finish at City Square, Swanston Street, where Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa will make their only Melbourne public appearance, giving fans the opportunity to learn first-hand about Scuderia Ferrari’s ambitions for the 2009 season, with actor Vince Colosimo as the host for the event.

Following the drivers’ appearances, entertainment provided by Shell will continue into the lunch hour, courtesy of musical artist Jon Stevens, who will sing hit songs from his well-loved catalogue.
