Coins are 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2.

Banks are open Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 4pm and until 5pm on Friday.

All banks are closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.

Automatic Tellers operate 24hrs a day. EFTPOS facilities are available at most large stores, supermarkets, chemists and service stations. You can cash travellers cheques at banks, hotels and some motels. Always have identification.

Exchange Rates vary from day to day. Banks and hotels will tell you what current rates are, or you can telephone any of the above.
