You've Got Hate Mail

YOU’VE GOT HATE MAIL
written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore
directed by Simon James

A comedy of emails where love really bytes!  Richard is having an affair with Wanda.  Everything is hot and sweaty until he introduces his wife to the wonders of the internet – and accidentally sends her an email intended for his lover!

What ensues is an internet farce where a marriage is on the rocks and other affairs are launched and sail close to the wind of common sense.

Stephanie is devastated and seeks her revenge on her unfaithful husband.   Wanda has her claws deep into Richard and will not let go.  Richard is torn between the two.  Stephanie's friend Peg is supportive but also plots to destroy Richard by pretending to be him and sending misleading emails to Wanda.  Richard's best friend George is rather useless in the situation and is more interested in photo-shopping celebrity nudes!

People are thrown together by infidelity, fate and revenge.  Just the right ingredients for a very funny adult play!

In today's world of technology overkill, none of the characters actually talk to each other face to face.  All communication is done via their emails, texts and phone calls!

The production will be performed in-the-round, with the actors getting right up close to the audience!
